Cheating Death

Death comes for us all...but that doesn't mean we can't escape it.

You've recently died and found yourself in Death's Casino, challenged by the man himself in a game of shells. The rules are simple: win, and you'll wake up; lose, and join his army of souls. The issue is, Death is a filthy cheater, and your chance of winning is thin. But maybe... maybe you can outcheat him? Who knows, but remember...Fortune Favors The Bold.

Cheating Death was created for the 2025 Prague GDS Gamejam!

Note:  When the cheating ability is enabled, a mouse icon pops up to indicate that the player should click on the cup. However, the right mouse button is highlighted even though it is necessary to click on the cup using left mouse button. We are sorry for this inconsistency! 

The windows blue screen of death is part of the game and it's a punishment for losing. There is a skeleton added to the bg of the BSOD if you look closely.
